Hello students! My name is Mr. Krier and I’m originally from Santa Barbara County, California. I moved to Arizona in 2009 to get to know a woman named Traci, who is now my beautiful wife. My lovely wife is originally from Idaho and is also a teacher. We now love living on the Central Coast! We have two red miniature pinscher doggies who are great companions. We have boy named Noah and two Girls named Julia and Clara.
After a couple of years at a community college in California, I moved to Hawaii to attain my Bachelors of Arts degree at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Outside of class I played on the water polo team, surfed, backpacked and painted beautiful ocean scenes. I also received my teaching credential in Art from National University through a virtual class setting, while working in the classroom as a substitute teacher and tutor. I had the privilege of teaching my two favorite electives of Fine Art and Physical Education along with being an Athletic Director at a small private school in Scottsdale. Then for three years I taught Art and electives at Primavera which is Arizona’s largest high school. Over the past years it is my pleasure to be a part of the team here at Greenfield!
I thoroughly enjoy creating art in many mediums such as oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, and ceramic sculpting. Artists have the abilities to transfer deep emotions they’ve experienced to their viewers. I believe that art has a way of stirring the imagination and refreshing the soul.
I will be available for any questions you may have, so please let me know if I can help. Enjoy the class!
