My name is Makenna Gray, and I am the Health Science teacher here at Greenfield High School. I'm using this page to provide a little bit of background about me and why I am the health teacher on campus.

 

I graduated from Boise State University in December of 2018 with my bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Kinesiology (exercise science). After living in Idaho for another year, I chose to move home to California and started long-term substitute teaching at King City High School. When the pandemic hit, I decided to go back to school to become an educator. While in my program, I taught Science Academy 1 and 2 at Greenfield High School from 2021-2023. In May of 2023, I graduated from Alliant International University with my master's degree in Education with single-subject credentials in Foundational Level Sciences - General and Health Sciences. 

 

I am very excited to teach a curriculum where I not only have a strong educational background in, but also getting to teach a curriculum where I can help work towards the betterment of our students' lives, both on-campus and within the community.
